Kurá Hulanda museum

The museum shows an impressive piece of history about the time of the transatlantic slave trade. There is also an extensive collection of African artefacts, including masks, statues and utensils on display.

Bagira has also created amazing murals all over the island, but you can also admire a beautiful mural of hers in Kura Hulanda Village itself at the Rustiq restaurant. But Art bij Eve also has a gallery and shop in Kura Hulanda Village, in addition to a location on Jan Thiel.

Live music and events

There is also regular live music on Friday and Saturday evenings, there are regular nice markets and every first Thursday of the month there is ‘Night at the Village’ and every second Saturday of the month there is ‘Market at the Village’. Some practical information; there is parking at the entrance or in Otrobanda itself.

One entrance that is easily accessible on foot is behind the restaurant ‘De Gouverneur’. It can easily be combined with a walk through Punda and Otrobanda. There are also many murals around the village.
